Environmental surveys
Bureau Waardenburg is involved in making environmental surveys for Environmental Impact Assessment studies, commissioned mainly by provincial governments. An environmental survey gives a complete description of all biotic, edaphic and landscape characteristics of a certain area and constitutes an important aspect in the analysis of the relationship between operation and effect. In an early stage of the EIA trajectory, the existing data are compiled and analyzed. At this stage it is also possible to identify any gaps in knowledge and to decide whether it is necessary to conduct supplementary research.Our experts are then able to assess, with the aid of spatial analysis, the consequences of planned activities. |
