Environmental Impact Assessment
In Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) the effects of certain human activities on the environment are assessed. Bureau Waardenburg is mainly involved in EIA-procedures where ecological and/or spatial issues play an important role. Our expert knowledge is complemented by spatial analysis. Examples are the effects of windfarms on a bird population or the consequences of the broadening of a highway for the surrounding landscape. With the help of geostatistical techniques it is possible to assess the reliability of predictions.
